Two new orang-utans arrived in PPSC
April 25, 2008In April 2008 we picked up two orang-utans from Bogor, Noni and Dodo. The animals were bought at a black market at a very young age and were literally raised as children in a family. When they reached the puberty stage they became absolutely unsuitable as pets. From then on they were captivated in a cage and PPSC received a phone call to pick up the poor animals. We hope the animals can be placed at a rehabilitation centre at some point. If this is not possible, we will find a good alternative solution for them to live in as if they are living in their natural habitat.
