Stichting AAP visit PPSC in Cikananga
March 28, 2010On March 17 David van Gennep (director of AAP) visit PPSC in Cikananga. To see with his own eyes how the progress of PPSC is going. It was for us a big honour to welcome David in Cikananga.
We showed him around in the park of PPSC. David was very enthusiastic about the progress PPSC make and about the present condition. There is still a lot of maintenance work to do in the park but happily David could see the chance we make in the last half year while AAP sponsored PPSC.
As you all could read in the latest story on the website AAP cave PPSC a proof period with financial support for a half year (October 2009 the proof period started), to improve the animal welfare standard (guarantee of the five basic animal needs) and to rebuild the centre to go back to normal in every way, in terms of animal welfare as back in the way it was in the beginning’’ a professional animal rescue centre with the coal of rescuing wild animals and release them back to their natural habitat, or find a good sanctuary for them’’.
With David visit we had the chance to get know each other and to discuss the possibility’s for future cooperation. It looks positive for PPSC. There are still a few items that have to be arranging by PPSC, after that AAP will make their finale decision; starting cooperation with PPSC or not!
Hopefully soon I can give more news about this.
On the last evening of David’s visit he caves a great donation to PPSC, where we are very thankful for; an Autoclave machine for in the animal clinic of Cikananga Wildlife Rescue Center. This tool is used to sterilize medical equipment, and has been on the wish list of Cikananga for a long time already. Now our vet can do operations again in the animal clinic. This was for a long time not possible, because we could not make our medical equipments sterile. But by the donation of the Autoclave machine we can do operation in PPSC again.
David and Stichting AAP; Thank you for your support, help and your belief in PPSC, we hope we can continuing a successful cooperation together.
