13 June 2023 – As we operate as a multi-species rescue center, Cikananga requires a large variety of food, supplements, and medicine to be sourced daily, we need to offer specialized hands-on care for over 70 different species and maintain a large variety of enclosures types to make sure all the animals are doing well and stay healthy. As such we want to share a Big Thank You! to Fondation Brigitte Bardot for their fantastic and substantial support over the past 2 years. For us, finding support for daily operations is actually challenging due to the somewhat volatile nature of these activities, but it is the backbone of the rescue center!
