Poaching and habitat loss are on the rise
Each came from a different background, either having been kept illegally as pets or as a result of human-wildlife conflict.
It is clear that many animals are under increasing pressure as their natural habitats continue to shrink. In search of suitable territory, they often wander into human areas, where they may be captured, kept as pets, or come into conflict with people. Fortunately, these individuals have now been confiscated and are safe at our center. With proper rehabilitation and thorough health screening, we hope they will one day be ready for release back into the wild.
Education helps prevent illegal poaching Everyone can play a role in protecting wildlife. Through our education program, we inform local communities about how to respond if they encounter wild animals kept as pets, for sale, or in distress. We also emphasize the crucial importance of respecting wild animals in their natural habitat.
If you would like to contribute to the protection of these animals, please contact us or make a small contribution via the donation button.
Elk dier had een andere achtergrond; sommigen werden illegaal als huisdier gehouden, anderen waren het slachtoffer van conflicten tussen mens en dier.
