Coming soon: The new Wanicare Website

Digital agency Kruso and the Wanicare Foundation aim to create the most sustainable website of the Netherlands. Stay tuned for the full launch in May!

Sustainable web to minimize our footprint

Every click has an impact: From the energy it takes to show it on your screen, the length of your user journeys, to the energy required to run the cloud infrastructure. To minimize our footprint, digital agency Kruso offers its expertise as we aim to make Wanicare.com the most sustainable website in the Netherlands.
How Kruso does it

About Wanicare

Since 2009 we have supported the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of confiscated wildlife in Indonesia and educate about illegal wildlife trade, nature, and wildlife conservation. Our main program is the support of the Cikananga Wildlife Center, which gives home to hundreds of confiscated wild animals, coming from the illegal wildlife trade or as they lost their natural habitat. It's our goal to return these animals to the wild. While rebuilding, please find the latest updates on Instagram.

Support the animals of Wanicare

While we are rebuilding our website, you can still make a difference for wildlife in need. It is possible to help them by adopting a rescued animal or to support one of our other programs such as the release projects and education activities around wildlife & nature conservation through a donation. For any questions, please reach out to info@wanicare.com

Join us in Cikananga

Over the past 14 years, the Cikananga Wildlife Center has welcomed many interns, volunteers, and schools. Education and awareness are key goals in our work, and therefore we run an accessible program for wildlife and nature enthusiasts and aspiring conservationists to join our team for a couple of weeks or months. Check the guide for more information and get ready to hands-on support the animals of Cikanaga.
