Although currently classified as Least Concern, their population is showing a declining trend due to pressures such as hunting and wildlife trade, as they are for example used in the "special" coffee industry, where they suffer in small cages, bad food, and are robbed from their freedom.
Protecting civets is not just about one species, but about maintaining the balance of ecosystems that we all depend on. So, healthy civets, healthy planet.
